Rotaract Day - Yin Ranch Social - Saturday, May 15 @ Yin Ranch in Vacaville, 9 - 4 PM

        Spend a day on a Rotarian's Ranch with the best club in the world :). Go carts, indoor pool, billiards, tennis, basketball, paddle boating, and TONS OF FUN! $15 regular admission, $5 if you put in 2 hours of service (lunch and clean up shifts).

Baby Paks Committee - Thursdays, 11-12PM @ MU II (Second floor of the Memorial Union)

        Join us as we work out the logistics for our international project, Baby Paks! This is going to be a huge project, so we'll need a lot of help. It's also a great way to obtain some leadership experience!

Freakin Awesome Friday: Baby Caps - Friday, 4/30, 4:00-7:00PM @ Gilmore Study Lounge

        We'll be making caps for our international project, Baby Paks!

Sunset Rotary Club Charter Night - Wednesday, May 5th, 6-8 PM; 8-10 PM @ 919 Lake Blvd.

        There's a new Rotary Club in town and Cinco de Mayo is their Charter Night! Help make their initiation a success. We need 8 to 10 people!

Birch Lane Elementary Playground Painting! - Friday, April 30th, 2 - 5 PM | Saturday, May 1st, 9 - 12 PM @ 1600 Birch Lane

        Birch Lane Elementary's playground needs a new paint job! Work alongside Rotarians to prepare the playground on Friday and paint on Saturday. Join us at FAF afterward for pizza!

Pence Art Gallery - Sunday, May 2nd, 11:30 - 2 PM & 2 - 5 PM @ 212 D Street

        We will need 8 volunteers, 4 per shift. The shifts are 11:30 - 2 PM and 2 - 5 PM. We will be helping with craft projects!

Build a Playground in a Day! - PREP DAY: Tuesday 5/18, 8 - 4 PM | BUILD DAY: Thursday 5/20, 8 - 4 PM @ Zapata Park 905 E Street, Sacramento

        We need enthusiastic, energetic, team players who are willing to work and have fun. We need volunteers for painting, food service, registering volunteers, tool distribution and collection, mixing concrete, assembling pre-fabricated equipment, site clean-up, supervising children's activities, etc.

Mondavi Center Fundraiser - Friday, May 28th, 5 - 10 PM @ Mondavi Center

        Another Mondavi Center Fundraiser! These events bring our club huge sums of money, so be on the lookout. Dress code: black slacks, white long sleeve button down shirt, covered toes, black shoes, no rings, no perfume, no bracelets, hair must be tied back, no long earrings.

        Join the Luna Vista family-hosted drive-in movie night with a choice of Hot Tub Time Machine, How to Train Your Dragon, Clash of the Titans, and She's Outta My League. Tickets are $6.75 and rides will be arranged!

14 Miles of Service -- Global Youth Service/Earth Day Clean Up - Saturday, April 24th, 8-12 PM @ Sacramento Northern Bike Trail

        We need 10 volunteers to help remove litter and invasive plants, prune shrubs, and wed or mulch garden beds. We need drivers!

Sacramento Open - Sunday, April 25th, 10-2 PM @ Inderkum High School Track (2500 New Market Drive Sacramento, CA 95835)

        Help out with the Track and Field events for those with disabilities. Wear t-shirts, pants (or shorts if hot) close-toed shoes, and a smile :D Meet at the tennis courts at 9:20 AM for rides.

Hey Everyone!

Welcome back from spring break and to the new Spring quarter of 2010! I hope everyone is having a good start of this quarter. Before anything there are a few reminders that Rotaract would like to give you:

Spring Kickoff!

        Come join us for our kickoff this quarter for new and exciting events coming up. Kickoff will be tonight at 6:10 PM @ Young 194 There will be pizza and refreshments available during the meeting. Come check out not only our service events but new information about our Movie Night coming next Thursday!
