Hey everyone, this is a reminder to everyone who is joining us to our field trip to Woodland to hear Richard King, a former Rotary International President, speak about Rotary and Rotaract.

REMINDER!

It seems that some information about the Richard King Speaking was not disclosed to members so I just wanted to post it up here in case everyone needed a reminder.

For the Richard King Speaking, in order to make it on time, we will be meeting at 4:45 PM by the MU side of the tennis court parking lot. Please be on time because we will be leaving promptly at 5:30 PM so we can make it there.

It is very important to know that the attire is BUSINESS CASUAL

If you signed up for the event, please keep in mind the time and attire for the event and if you have any questions about the speaking or anything in general, feel free to email any of our directors.

 Also,

If you guys missed out on the general meeting last time, families are now in!

Check out our new Families List in the members tab to see which family you are in!

Things to know..

E-mail Print PDF

Welcome to the web page guys!

As you guys may notice, the website is changing little by little and hopefully we can get this thing poppin'! I just wanted to make a blog real quick about things that you guys may want to know about the next general meeting (10/27/09). This upcoming general meeting is going to be a horrorfest potluck! Now this might sound a little scary but don't worry! Everything be okay! So check it out:

    1) This general meeting is going to be a potluck so look forward to some food and snacks! It would be wonderful if anyone can bring food to the potluck but it is not mandatory.

    2) Wear a costume! Some members and board members will be dressing up for the meeting and it would be cool to see everyone dressed up as what they are planning to wear for Halloween. Again, this isn't required but there WILL BE A COSTUME CONTEST so if you want to win, you will have to dress up!

    3) After the meeting, we will be watching Shuan of the Dead so feel free to stick around to eat and enjoy the movie!

    4) T-Shirt designs ARE DUE TOMORROW. If you made a design, be sure to submit it any time tomorrow.

    5) Try to stick around for the whole meeting because we will be announcing the creations of our families! Everyone will be placed into one of three families tomorrow near the end of the meeting so try to stay and meet your family!

Lastly, I wanted to point out a new addition to the Members Tab. At the very bottom of the tab, there is now our Job Shadowing information brought to you by our Professional Development chairs! So check it out by going to the tab OR click HERE! If you have any questions about the Job Shadowing Program or how to gain access to it, e-mail our Pro Dev chairs at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Hopefully you all have a good day and see you at the meeting! Cheers!

T-Shirt Design Deadline!

E-mail Print PDF

Hey guys! This is Tommy here and I just wanted to give everyone a reminder about this year's t-shirt design contest! As some of you may know, the deadline for the contest is this Tuesday, October 27th. If you made a design and would like to submit it, the easiest way to do that is to bring it to our general meeting at 6 PM! We, the board will review the designs and present them to the club for a vote. Remember, if you create a design and it is chosen to be this year's t-shirt design, you will not only win a free t-shirt but also a mystery prize! So make sure to turn in your design through one of these options:

1) Bring it to the general meeting.

2) Give it to a board member any time tomorrow.

3) Submit your design electronically to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

If you have any questions about the t-shirt contest, e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it OR click HERE for the rules of the contest.
