International Project: Make Agent Orange History

We will be supporting non-governmental agencies who help fund early detection, prevention and education for the disabled. They also provide critical services to the poorest disabled children in Vietnam, including those affected by exposure to Agent Orange/dioxin. In addition, these agencies provide direct assistance to help those affected find jobs, attend school, and attain prosthetic devices

San Francisco Trip – Cancelled, but to be rescheduled

Come join Rotaractors as we embark on our annual trip to San Francisco! We will be driving around and visiting some of the city’s greatest sightseeing spots like the Golden Gate Bridge, Pier 39, Ocean Beach and Twin Peaks. Other options are being considered as well! Bring money for lunch. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks.

Whole Earth Festival Hangout  – Saturday, May 12, 3-5 pm @ UC Davis Quad

The Whole Earth Festival is an annual event where local vendors come and showcase their pieces-clothes, statues, figurines, pottery, etc. There is usually live music, along with a variety of performances and an assortment of organic dishes that you can purchase. Come and witness a very different side of Davis.

On Saturday, we need six volunteers to meet with the Gran Fondo support team at the Bicycle Hall of Fame to assist with the loading of gear and supplies from the trucks into individual vehicles. On Sunday, we need six to eight people on site at Central Park at all time to maintain the secure bicycle parking area and provide karma patrol for central park.

Rotaract 5160 District Retreat – Saturday, April 28th, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM @ UC Berkeley (Meet at the MU Tennis Courts)

Sure, the fog will be thick, the challenges great, and the stakes high, but get ready to use every bit of your brute strength and sharp cleverness as we tackle what it means to be a Rotaractor in District 5160.  This 5-hour Hunger Games-themed mini-retreat is an opportunity for Rotaractors to network, meet the rest of their Rotary family and do service while having fun!  There will be guest speakers and leadership development workshops, but, like last year, we will end the afternoon with an intensive inter-club competition, so please dress comfortably!  May Rotaract be ever in your favor!  Registration costs $5 and includes lunch.

International Project: Make Agent Orange History

We will be supporting non-governmental agencies who help fund early detection, prevention and education for the disabled. They also provide critical services to the poorest disabled children in Vietnam, including those affected by exposure to Agent Orange/dioxin. In addition, these agencies provide direct assistance to help those affected find jobs, attend school, and attain prosthetic devices

Rotaract 5160 District Retreat – Saturday, April 28th, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM @ UC Berkeley (Meet at the MU Tennis Courts)

Sure, the fog will be thick, the challenges great, and the stakes high, but get ready to use every bit of your brute strength and sharp cleverness as we tackle what it means to be a Rotaractor in District 5160. This 5-hour Hunger Games-themed mini-retreat is an opportunity for Rotaractors to network, meet the rest of their Rotary family and do service while having fun! There will be guest speakers and leadership development workshops, but, like last year, we will end the afternoon with an intensive inter-club competition, so please dress comfortably! May Rotaract be ever in your favor! Registration costs $5 and includes lunch.

Sunday, May 6th, 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM @ @ Bicycle Hall of Fame near Central Park

Shifts from [6:30-10:30 AM (four volunteers), 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM (four volunteers), 1:00-5:00 PM (five volunteers)]

On Saturday, we need six volunteers to meet with the Gran Fondo support team at the Bicycle Hall of Fame to assist with the loading of gear and supplies from the trucks into individual vehicles.
On Sunday, we need six to eight people on site at Central Park at all time to maintain the secure bicycle parking area and provide karma patrol for central park.

Come join Rotaractors as we embark on our annual trip to San Francisco! We will be driving around and visiting some of the city’s greatest sightseeing spots like the Golden Gate Bridge, Pier 39, Ocean Beach and Twin Peaks. Other options are being considered as well! Moonlight Bowling – Friday, March 9th, 9:30 PM – 12:00 AM @ MU Games Area

Come and join your fellow Rotaractors on a Friday night for some fun and games at the MU bowling alley. We will most likely be bowling 2 games, but may do a third depending on those who attend. The price is $2 per person per game and the shoe rental is $1. Please remember to bring socks! There are also a variety of arcade games to play, as well as billiards, so please bring extra cash if you are interested in either of those as well. We hope to see you all there! International Project: Make Agent Orange History

We will be supporting non-governmental agencies who help fund early detection, prevention and education for the disabled. They also provide critical services to the poorest disabled children in Vietnam, including those affected by exposure to Agent Orange/dioxin. In addition, these agencies provide direct assistance to help those affected find jobs, attend school, and attain prosthetic devices.
