We are shopping for basic necessities to donate to Mercy Women’s Center. We will be meeting at the Tennis Courts to carpool.
Bucks for Ducks – Friday, November 18th, 6:15-8:45pm, 8:45-10:15pm@ Veterans Memorial Center on 203 E 14th St
Bucks for Ducks is the Yolo Basin Foundation’s annual fundraiser. They are committed to facilitating environmental education in the Yolo Wildlife Area. A large portion of the funds raised at this event are used to continue their educational program, Discover the Flyway. Wear your Rotaract shirts!
6:15-8:45pm is Plate and Utensil Clean-up Crew (6-8 Volunteers Needed)
8:45-10:15pm is Room Clean up Crew (12 Volunteers Needed)
Time Off for Caregivers – Saturday, November 19th, 9:40am-3pm @ Senior Center on 646 A Street
Give caretakers a rest and fill in their spots for a day. Pair up with a senior citizen, enjoy talks, listen to great stories of the past and engage in fun activities throughout the day. Dress is casual; morning refreshments and lunch are provided. About 8 Volunteers Needed.

Relay For Life – Saturday, April 14th – Sunday, April 15th @ Russel Field
Our team name will be Campus Rotaract Club. Please inform us if you are interested in joining. It will cost $5 this quarter and $10 next quarter.

International Project: Make Agent Orange History
We will be supporting non-governmental agencies who help fund early detection, prevention and education for the disabled. They also provide critical services to the poorest disabled children in Vietnam, including those affected by exposure to Agent Orange/dioxin. In addition, these agencies provide direct assistance to help those affected find jobs, attend school, and attain prosthetic devices.
Argentina Language and Culture Program Spring 2012
Students will study in Mendoza, Argentina at the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo. Students will take intensive and accelerated courses in Spanish language and Latin American culture. Students also participate in many special hikes and excursions, including a trip to Patagonia, visits to regional vineyards and much more. Students will take language classes at the Centro de EspanolcomoLenguaExtranjera (CELE).
