What is job shadowing?

“Job shadowing involves spending a period of time with a seasoned expert, observing everything that he or she does that is related to the work that is expected to be accomplished as part of the daily routine of the job.” – Wisegeek.com

Interested in learning about different types of professions?  Want to follow a Rotarian around for a day to learn about a specific career? As a paid member, you have the opportunity to participate in our job shadowing program! Below is a list of some professions that have been available for job shadowing.

• Business development in information technology
• Civil engineer
• CPA, CFO for Nugget Market
• Engineer/Developer
• Entrepreneur
• Financial planner
• Hydrologist
• Journalism, Communications web editor
• Mayor pro term
• Photographer
• Property management
• Real estate
• School R.N.
